School safety drill upsets some parents

Associated Press

"Officers wore protective gear, including vests and helmets, and carried rifles that were unloaded and marked with colored tape to indicate they were not live weapons, the newspaper said."

It's important that you know that all the parents were not upset by it in case you're not. Anyway, they obviously need to have classes in small arms in Michigan public schools.

This shocking quote is nowhere in the article. Instead we have the Bushism: "'I share the same frustration you share.'"

Followed by the half wit "conservative" opinion that

"Most of all, though, Bush said he realizes that the American people share that frustration, too. 'People, most of them, are out there saying, "What are you doing? Get after 'em,'" Bush said.'

Is that what "the American people are out there saying?" or is it just this blast from the LBJ Vietnam war past:

"I'm from Texas," Bush continued. "My buddies are saying, are you doing enough, not are you doing too little. They want to know, are we winning. They want to know, this mighty country, are we doing what it takes to win?"

"...while ignoring biggest explosives find in British history"

"Rocket launcher found at dentist?s house
Globe and Mail
Published on 06/10/2006

A RETIRED Grange dentist is accused of being part of a bomb plot after a record number of explosives were seized in a Lancashire town. David Bolais Jackson, 62, of Trent Road, Nelson, was arrested on Friday in the Lancaster area after leaving his Grange practice for the last time. Jackson was charged with being in possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose. However, it is unclear who or what the intended target might have been. Police found rocket launchers, chemicals, British National Party literature and a nuclear or biological suit at his home. The find came shortly after they had recovered 22 chemical components from the house of his alleged accomplice, Robert Cottage, a former BNP election candidate, who lives in Colne. The haul is thought to be the largest ever found at a house in this country."
